On Sunday, September 22, Greater Springfield Campaign Nonviolence and the Interfaith Council of Greater Springfield are co-sponsoring an event to mark International Peace Day (September 21st), the 5th Anniversary of our local Campaign Nonviolence and to bring together groups and organizations that work for peace and justice in our wider community.
There will be many different organizations and groups at tables ready to share information about their work for peace and justice. We encourage you to invite your members to attend so that they can talk with other groups and individuals committed to peace. There will also be music, children’s activities, interactive activities for all ages, and refreshments.
