What do we mean when we speak about the spiritual life?
Lent is a time to reflect on and reexamine our spiritual life in light of God’s will. It is a time to rediscover the active presence of God’s Spirit in our lives and trust God’s Spirit to recreate and renew us inwardly with love. This seminar is centered on Henri Nouwen’s book: Making All Things New: An Invitation to the Spiritual Life. Participants will discern the meaning of the spiritual life through prayer, reflection on the readings, scripture, and discussion.
